Asteroid LTD. and its affiliates (collectively, the “Company”) respect your privacy. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains the privacy practices of the Company in connection with its users ("you", "your" or "user") use of Company’s add-on browser extension known as “Weather Doggy” including any services offered to you on, from or through the Product (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy describes the ways the Company collects, processes and uses your Personal Data (as defined below) when using the Services and the rights and options available to you with respect to your Personal Data.

This Privacy Policy constitutes an integral part of our Terms of Service. Definitions used herein but not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in our Terms.

THE HIGHLIGHTS

We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise the Privacy Policy which will go into effect immediately upon the publication of the revised Privacy Policy. The last revision date will be reflected in the “Last Updated” heading located at the top of the Privacy Policy. We will make a reasonable effort to provide a notification in the event that we implement any changes that substantially changes our privacy practices. We may collect certain information about you that can be classified, as follows:

Non-Personal Data: aggregated, non-personal non-identifiable information which may be made available or gathered via your use of our Services. We are not aware of the identity of the individual from which the Non-Personal Data is collected.
Personal Data: we may collect from you, during your access or interaction with our Services individually identifiable information, namely information that identifies an individual or may with reasonable effort be used to identify an individual.

Certain types of online identifiers will be processed by us or by our service providers or business partners when you download and use our Product (IP address).

In addition, we will collect technical Non-Personal Data, such as, the type of operating system, type of browser, your default search, language preference and the time and date you access and use the Product, the webpages through which you were directed to the Product, your approximate location (i.e. country).

We use this data for our legitimate interests of (i) operating, providing, maintaining, protecting, managing, customizing and improving our Services and the way in which we offer them; (ii) enhancing your experience; (iii) auditing and tracking usage statistics and traffic flow, as well as calculating payments from our business partners (advertisers); and (iv) protecting the security of the Services, as well as our and third parties’ rights (subject to applicable law requirements).

In the event Personal Data will be collected for advertising purposes (by use of third party cookies or other tracking technologies) we will obtain your consent if required under applicable law.

Contact Details

If you voluntarily contact us in any manner, or for any requests or to notify us about something, you may be required to provide us with certain information such as your name and email address which we will then process.

We will process your contact details and contact history with us only in order to respond to you, provide you with support, assist you or provide you with any other service that you may request.

We will retain our contact history and correspondence, in the event we find it necessary to do so (e.g., in the event of future claim, to provide you with support, or to improve our services).

Search Queries

Upon your installation and use of the Product, we collect your search queries.

We use this data in order to provide the Services (i.e. displaying relevant advertising based on the users’ searches). Please note that this data is deleted a short period after it has been collected.

In the event you voluntarily choose to provide us with information, e.g., when you contact us or create an account.
Automatically, including through the use of cookies (as detailed below), and other similar tracking technologies.

We will ask for your consent to collect Personal Data and offer you the choice to opt-out of such collection if we are required to do so in accordance with applicable law.

SHARING DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES

We do not share any Personal Data collected from you with third parties except in the following events:

Legal Requirement: We will share your information in this situation, only if we are required to do so in order to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request (e.g., to comply with a court injunction, comply with tax authorities, etc.);
Policy Enforcement: We will share your information, solely to the extent needed in order to: (i) enforce our policies and agreements; or (ii) to investigate any potential violations thereof, including without limitations, detect, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities or other wrongdoings, suspected fraud or security issues;
Company’s Rights: We will share your information in order to establish or exercise our rights, to prevent harm to our rights, property or safety, and to defend ourselves against legal claims when necessary, subject to applicable law;

Online Identifiers: We may share Online Identifiers with our advertising partner’s and to detect fraud.
Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services on our behalf (e.g. servers, service functionality and support, marketing, etc.).

We reserve the right to use, disclose or transfer (for business purposes or otherwise) aggregated and processed Non-Personal Data to third parties, including, inter alia, affiliates, for various purposes including commercial use. This information may be collected, processed and analyzed by us and transferred in a combined, collectively and aggregated manner (i.e., your information is immediately aggregated with other users) to third parties.

DATA RETENTION

We retain the Personal Data we collect for as long as needed to provide the Services, carry out our business purpose, perform our contract with you, and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements, in accordance and in compliance with applicable laws, or until an individual requests that we delete his or her Personal Data, as detailed above.

Please note that unless you decide to delete your user account by sending us a request do so, or any part thereof, or instruct us otherwise, we retain the information we collect for as long as needed to perform the above. Once you delete your account you will not be able to recover it and will have to register again with a new account in case you choose to use the Services.

We are entitled to rectify, replenish or remove incomplete or inaccurate information, at any time and at our sole discretion.

SECURITY

We use physical, technical and administrative security measures for the Services that we believe are in compliance with applicable laws and industry standards in order to prevent your information from being accessed without the proper authorization, improperly used or disclosed, unlawfully destructed or accidentally lost. It is important for you to remember however, that unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet cannot be 100% secure. As such, although we will do our best to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted via our Services and any transmission of your data shall be done at your own risk.

You may also contact us at info@weatherdoggy.com if you feel that your privacy was not dealt with properly or was dealt with in a way that was in breach of our Privacy Policy or if you become aware of a third party's attempt to gain unauthorized access to any of your Personal Data. We will make a reasonable effort to notify you and the appropriate authorities (if required by applicable law) in the event that we discover a security incident related to your Personal Data.

CHILDREN

You represent and warrant that, (i) You are above the age defined as a “child” under applicable laws in your jurisdiction and specifically under the age of 16 ( “Child” or “Children”); and (ii) you are of legal competence to enter into this Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, please be sure to read the terms of this Privacy Policy with your parents or legal guardians. The Services are not directed or intended for Children, as defined under applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect or solicit information from children. If we obtain actual knowledge that a User is considered to be a Child under applicable law, we will take steps to immediately delete such user’s Personal Data. Transfer of your data

We may store or process your information in the United States or in other countries. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area ("EEA") we will take appropriate measures to ensure that your information receives an adequate level of data protection upon its transfer outside of the EEA. If you are a resident of a jurisdiction where the transfer of your data requires your consent, then your consent to this Privacy Policy includes your express consent for such transfer of your Personal Data.
